Dr. James grew up playing sports and following Miami sports teams. He studied engineering at the University of Miami, spending time at the Beach or down in the Florida Keys. After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. James has practiced in South Carolina, North Carolina, as well as overseas in Italy.

The National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (National Registry) is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) program. All commercial drivers must be examined by a medical professional listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Only medical examiners that have completed training and successfully passed a test on FMCSA's physical qualification standards will be listed on the National Registry. Dr. Pat and Dr. James are both certified CDL Medical Examiners, and they can be found on the National Registry
